  1. I’ve been told that I need to smile more or that I look too serious. This is a challenge for me because sometimes I feel like I am already smiling. I’m smiling on the inside, but apparently my facial expressions aren’t cooperating or the signals my brain receives that I’m smiling when I’m not. I plan to work on smiling more by training my smile hopefully it doesn’t transcend into “I keep people locked up in my basement” smile. That would be totally contrary to what I want to achieve. Smiling doesn’t only work with your mouth, it is in your body language as well.

  2. Smiling really is magical! One of the things I enjoy the most about my job is that it occasionally requires me to smile and greet people. Some people ignore me, but other times I’ve seen my smile light an answering one. Seeing a smile returned just makes it that much better! 😊
